screen Terminal Multiplexer (ähnlich tmux)#

screen ermöglicht es, eine Terminal-Sitzung über ssh sehr flexibel zu nutzen.

"Screen" bietet sich für drei Szenarien an:

    * mehrere Nutzer.innen können eine Sitzung teilen
    * das Sitzungsterminal kann in mehrere Fensterbereiche ("panes") geteilt werden
    * im Sitzungsterminal können mehrere Sitzungen offengehalten werden ("buffer")

Es gelten ähnliche Erläuterungen wie für tmux.

Beispiel für eine Konfigurationsdatei "~/.screenrc":
